Software Engineer

The Role We are looking for a motivated and proactive Software Engineer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our [e.g., Payments, Platform, User Experience] team. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying key features of our product. You will move beyond basic task execution to take ownership of components, contribute to architectural decisions, and help mentor junior developers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software features. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and high-quality code. Take ownership of medium-to-large features from conception to launch and ongoing iteration. Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high standards and share knowledge. Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues across our development, staging, and production environments. Contribute to improving our development processes, tools, and engineering best practices. Provide thoughtful guidance and mentorship to associate/junior engineers.

3-5 years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in one or more of our core languages: Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C#. Solid experience with modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Django, Spring Boot, .NET Core). Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and understanding of microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services like compute, storage, and serverless functions. Strong understanding of software development fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and system design. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus). Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. • 3 years of experience required
