Python Back-End Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python Build and optimize high-performance, reliable microservices and distributed systems Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Implement robust data processing pipelines, database schemas, and caching strategies Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning sessions Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in production environments Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend platform functionality Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability through monitoring and automation Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions

3+ years of professional Python backend development experience Strong expertise in Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar) Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL Knowledge of asynchronous programming and concurrent processing Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery) and task queues Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of software architecture patterns and microservices design Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) and CI/CD practices Knowledge of caching solutions (Redis, Memcached) and performance optimization Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently • 2 years of experience required
