AI/ML Engineer

About the Role: Join our early-stage AI startup based in Ghana, where we are dedicated to building scalable machine learning solutions for enterprise clients. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative models and deploying them to create impactful AI applications. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and models. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective ML solutions. • Optimize and deploy models in production environments using MLOps practices. • Build and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis. • Conduct statistical analysis and validation of models to ensure performance and reliability. • Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for deployment. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute to the team’s knowledge base. What We're Looking For: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. • Proven experience in machine learning and deep learning techniques. • Strong proficiency in Python programming and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

Required: • 2-5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles. • Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, data modeling, and statistical analysis. • Experience with model deployment and MLOps practices. • Familiarity with SQL and data pipeline development. Nice-to-Have: • Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision. • Experience with Reinforcement Learning and Cloud AI Services. • Familiarity with CI/CD for ML and big data tools such as Apache Spark. • Experience with experiment tracking tools like Weights & Biases.
