Web Designer

About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Designer to join our Creative department at Uline. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the digital presence of our brand by designing visually compelling and user-friendly web pages, emails, and other digital marketing assets. Your creativity and technical skills will contribute to our efforts in maintaining one of the largest ecommerce websites in the United States. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design concepts aligned with business objectives, ensuring a seamless and engaging digital experience for our customers. Additionally, you will have opportunities to mentor junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative and inspiring team environment. Responsibilities Design and develop engaging web pages, email templates, and digital marketing materials that align with brand standards and marketing strategies. Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet business goals. Maintain and update existing website graphics, ensuring consistency and freshness in visual content. Coordinate with the Photography team to develop new visual assets and image concepts for digital use. Mentor and support associate designers and interns, fostering a creative and productive team environment. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of digital assets.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Graphic/Web Design or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in web design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, is essential, with additional familiarity with Figma or similar prototyping tools considered a plus. Strong understanding of user experience principles, responsive design, and current web design trends is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines are also important. Candidates should demonstrate a portfolio showcasing previous web design projects that reflect creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
